Heavenly Body Treats review

Heavenly Body Treats

Michelle, the owner of Heavenly Body Treats, sent me samples to try. This new etailer has a few products only but they are of an amazing quality.

If you are from outside the US, send your order by email as the site is not accepting international orders yet. Michelle is located in Delaware and the turnaround time is 3 to 5 days.

The labels are waterproof, simple and elegant.

Here are the products I’ve tried:

Double Whipped Soy Body Cream (a 2 oz. jar costs $4.50) in Caramel Apple
From the site: Delicious, ripe Granny Smith apples dipped in sweet buttery caramel.
I say: This is an amazing green apple sniff, young and fresh. If you are familiar with “Dans un Jardin” stores, this smells just like their green apple scent. But the texture of this body cream is what I like the most. It has the consistency of whipped melted marshmallow and it sinks right in the skin without being greasy. I never had that much fun applying a moisturizer!

Luxurious Shower Creme (a 4 fl. oz. bottle costs $5.50) in Hazelnut Truffle
From the site: A delicious creamy chocolate truffle filled with a blend of hazelnut and vanilla. If you’ve ever had Nutella, this smells exactly like it!
I say: This is a pearly shower gel, thicker than most etailers. It is truly luxurious and it lathers very well. The consistency is close to the Tutti Dolci shower gel. I don’t find it to be a Nutella perfect dupe. I get more cocoa than in the Nutella spread, but it’s definitely interesting. The scent doesn’t linger on the skin for a long time after showering.

Moisturizing Hair & Body Mist (a 4 fl. oz. bottle costs $6.00) in Pumpkin Pie
From the site: Delicious pumpkin combined with cinnamon and spices.
I say: The cinnamon is the strongest note in this mist. It reminds me of the little heart-shaped cinnamon candy that we give on Valentines Day. I made an experiment one day with my Caramel Apple Cream layered with this mist and I smelled like a yummy homemade apple pie. The scent lasted half a day, so I had to reapply. It didn’t dried my hair.

Goat’s Milk Smoothing Body Souffle (a 2 oz. jar costs $4.50) in Fudge Brownie
From the site: A very true scent, like a freshly baked brownie. Sweet chocolate, fudge and walnuts!
I say: In the jar, this is a very true brownie smell and it would be wonderful in a home scent. After a few minutes, the scent fades away, so you won’t be walking around and craving brownies all day long. The texture is very light, like gel, and it feels so fresh! It think it will be my little delight this summer.
