Bath Nation closes its door and is now for sale

It’s a sad day from scrub lovers. The high-end etailer Bath Nation announced that after five years of business, the store is now closed. It is for sale so hopefully Meagan’s recipes will be passed on to another etailer.

Here is a copy of the newsletter she sent to her customers:

“AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL BATH NATION CUSTOMERS

September 26, 2006

Dear Valued Customer, Supporter and Friend,

I am writing to announce that, after over five years in business, we have decided to close Bath Nation’s doors. I will always value the time that I have spent working on and growing Bath Nation, however, my life and my family are moving in a direction that does not leave enough time for me to effectively run this growing venture.

I wanted to thank all of you who have taught me so much and so faithfully supported Bath Nation over the past years. It has certainly been an adventure, one that I will never forget, and I have loved every minute of it.

In regard to the future, effectively immediately, Bath Nation and all of its assets are for sale. Detailed information regarding this offering can be found below.

For now, however, I want to thank you again and wish all of you many wonderful, sweet-smelling returns in the future. Best Wishes, Meagan Micozzi, Founder, Bath Nation LLC”
